The club is friendly, approachable and crucially it's about getting people off the sofa and out into the countryside.

All of our rides are non-drop, so you won't get left behind and a post ride pint and a mid-ride cake are pretty high on our agenda.
​
Our club caters for riders of all ability and rider styles. Our underlying ethos is to support people to enjoy and improve their cycling.
​
More important with Velo Club Flintham is the need to enjoy the ride.
It's not about the speed; it's about the smile on your face.
SUNDAY GROUP RIDES

​
Every Sunday there are at least two rides - 35 miles and 50 miles. There's always a ride leader and a planned route published in advance (website forum) with a mid ride cafe stop.
If the turnout is large, groups are split accordingly. Rides have a strict non-drop policy so that no one gets left behind.
Riders are supportive of each other, there's lots of chat and new riders are always welcome.
Really bad weather conditions are avoided.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT RIDES
These are summer rides only and tend to be fast paced.

Our annual charity ride of 100 miles divided into 4 'petals'.
